SPEAKATHON CLUB Starts at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology

Speakathon club starts at GJUST 

A Student Club namely SPEAKATHON CLUB has been created in the mentorship of Training & Placement Cell of GJUS&T (Hisar). Inauguration of the club was done in the form of a

an Online Workshop held on topic "Communication Excellence" for club members in which Director of TIME, Hisar was the chief guest and key speaker. In his welcome address, Director of T&P Cell, Pratap Singh told that this club has been formed with the target of enhancement of communication skills of as many students as possible. He told that students, who have been declared winners in all speakathon events held in last 6 months are the members of this club. Each club member will adopt  5 other students and groom their communicationskills by holding programs like GDs. Monthly Virtual Speakathon competitions will also be held by this club.

While interacting with club members, Key Speaker Mr. Pankaj Choudhary said that Teaching is best way of learning & hence each club member will develop a number of qualities like leadership,

mentoring, patience along with the betterment of his/her own communication skills. He emphasized the importance of communication in every era of life and appealed all students to continually

practice it. He told that students should listen to understand not listen only to respond.
