3-Weeks Employability Enhancement Program started with Naandi Foundation

The Training and Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar has started a 3-Weeks Online Employability
Enhancement Program for final year students, with Naandi Foundation under its Mahendra Proud Classroom program, which is CSR initiative of 
Mahendra Group for improving the employability skills of students. Registrar Dr. Avnesh Verma inaugurated the workshop as chief guest. Director(Placement)
Partap Singh presided over the function. State Representative Mr. Hemant Kumar & Soft Skill Trainers Ms. Nitika Jain & Ms. Meenakshi Dabas from Naandi foundation were also present in the inauguration function. 

While addressing the students, Director(Placement) Partap Singh highlighted the need of working on employability skills including aptitude & communication skills
in current competitive time. He told that students should take full advantage of this CSR initiative of Mahendra Group.

Registrar, Dr. Avnesh Verma emphasized the importance of communication skills, teamwork and life skills in life, as these will help every individual in taking 
his/her career in bright direction. He further said that these skills bring universal employability in us, due to which we can work anywhere. 

Mr. Hemant Kumar from Naandi Foundation informed the students that this employability enhancement program is a well-designed and carefully curated program which will provide expertise on Aptitude, life skills (compassion, gratitude, respect, being a responsible citizen), Soft skills (grooming, body language, team work, manners, time management), Communication Skills, Presentation skills (speaking coherently and confidently) and Interview skills (resume preparation, interview questions, mock interviews). He said the focus of this program will be finding new ways of thinking and problem solving, evaluating the impact of their actions, taking responsibility and building confidence, collaborating with the teams. Assistant Director Aditya Vir Singh told that 250 final year students have enrolled for this program, which will be conducted daily in three batches. He told that Pratibha, Rohit, Jyoti, Varsha Kumari & Shashi Yadav will be the student coordinators of these batches. Tanisha Huria, student of MBA, anchored the event.
