 Job Description- Optics Engineer

 

POSITION:                  Engineer          

DIVISION:                   Innovation (Origination)         ORGANISATION:       SVSPL, G. Noida

 

Job Objective: To prepare the art design; as per the customer business need and requirements and develop the art master files to support production process. 

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Development:

·         To do research work in 2D/3D holographic conventional concept and developed master with new security features in the holographic design creation. 

·         To create and develop holographic design featured with new security features inserted in the Master design developed.

·         To ensures features developed are aligned with the customer business need and requirements.

·         To ensure subsequent approval of Master from the management.

·         To re-design the Master if any changes are demanded by the management or the person concerned.

·         The approved master forward to the concerned department for further production process.

Development of Product Master:

·         To plan for master shooting on Kinemax and conventional holographic table to develop the master copy.

·         To do programming in the system for the Master shooting till finalization.

·         To plan for recombination process from the Master design, and do plan for the shim preparation.

·         To send the master for silvering process and prepare the sample Hologram etc.

·         To take pre-approval for final printing process from HOD or the person concerned.

Department Management & Up-keep of Equipment's:

·         To analyse departmental (Commercial & Technical) business requirement and communicating with the HOD or the person concerned nominated.

·         To maintain & up-keep of the Office equipment's in working order, also to ensure for the preventive maintenance schedule and its functionality.

Managing Self learning and Growth:

·         To develop new design concept/features and self up-gradation on the holographic technology.

·         To evaluate and develop team performance facilitating training need identifications and coordinate with the HoD for bridging knowledge GAPs.

MIS and process improvement

·         To preparing and reporting all MIS related to designs in a timely manner to HoD’s; contributing to process improvements.

Salary:  Upto Rs.40,000 per month ( based upon the interview performance)
