Tejas wireless team has developed a high-capacity LTE-based Macro eNodeB along with RRH as part of end-to-end integrated solution for their customers. Our systems are already deployed in customer’s commercial network and engineers are working on enhancing the capacity and improving system-level performance. In addition to that, the wireless team is working on upgrading from existing 4G to 5G solutions with integrated transport.

Tejas Networks has invested in Wireless product development since 2012 with a vision to create 4G upgradeable to 5G products. Several of the key components developed by the Wireless R&D team have been installed and commissioned across three continents. We are an active partner for 5G in the Indian Ecosystem and have significantly contributed to India’s standardization efforts in 3GPP, through TSDSI. The wireless team has over 100 patents. As part of the wireless team, you will work on developing products for 4G/LTE/5G.

Eligibility:

• 2023 batch BE / BTech / ME / MTech (ECE-related branches only)
• Good pH Score mandatory
• Good academic track record (70% throughout)

Job Description:

• Responsible for Design, Development and Implementation of embedded software and applications related to 5G Radio Unit OR responsible for design and development of satellite communication physical layer standard
• Must have the ability to think outside the box, creating innovative solutions to complex embedded applications and wireless systems
• Candidate will be working on a variety of wireless products that are telecom-grade developed, manufactured, and supplied to international customers.
• Interfacing to the SW/DSP/Algorithms teams to translate DSP algorithms to custom SOC/DSP firmware (Fixed point C & VLIW/SIMD assembly)
• System integration & verification of algorithms on DSP (HW/controller interfacing, FW/SW partitioning, module/ system level testing)
• Analysing and debugging the system issues (field trails, compliance tests, customer support)
• Optimizing system performance w.r.t MIPS/Memory/Latency requirements

Skills Required:

• Knowledge / Proficiency in C programming
• Knowledge in Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communication related areas.

Salary:

• Internship -

            The stipend during internship will be ₹ 30k per month.

• Compensation-

            BE / BTech: ₹10 LPA

            ME / MTech: ₹11 LPA
